BusyBee Friends - seriously cute bag

http://babyology.com.au/out-and-about/busybee-friends-seriously-cute-bags.html

Written by Jaime Purnot 13.05.2009

I’m always on the lookout for fun, user friendly, innovative and, most importantly, good looking bags for kids. They’re not easy to come by, most companies having only mastered the cuteness factor or the fun factor, but being easy to use as well as unique is essential for children’s accessories. BusyBee Friends have brought it all together in their collection of backpacks, lunch bags, trundle and shoulder bags.

Yes, I’m a bag girl through and through. Handbags, travel bags, suitcases - you name it and I’m interested. So it’s no surprise that I consider my daughter’s bag choices (well, my choices for a while longer) to be crucial. We travel a lot too and the importance of a well designed bag that’s also appealing to my daughter is imperative.

Winner of the UK ‘Practical Preschool’ Gold Award, these quirky little creations are just plain adorable and perfectly fit the bill. I can definitely see us using one of the trundle bags on our overseas trips. The character choices are ‘PengPeng’ Penguin, ‘Cuckoo’ Chick and ‘Quackie’ Duck. The ingenious design of these bags is evident throughout. The backpack has a removable wing to use as a pencil case (so cool) and every little space is used wisely and efficiently with many compartments and enclosures for little keepsakes.

Babyology first caught sight of these bags at the Kids inStyle trade show back in February and they’re now available to purchase here in Australia from Bébé. The prices are very reasonable at $24.95 for the lunch box, $49.95 for the backpack and $99.95 for the trundle bag plus postage.
